An intern at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York in the criminal division, Elias Neibart has responsibility for duties ranging from transcribing sensitive government documents for trial use to helping write subpoenas and preparing evidence in collaboration with the trial team. Elias Neibart also studies political science at Emory University, where he expects to graduate in May of 2020 and then go on to law school. A dean's list student, he also holds distinction as a Pat H. Odom Dean's Achievement Scholar.

Prior to his current internship, Elias Neibart completed internships in Essex County, New Jersey, first assisting Judge Michael L. Ravin and then serving at the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.

An accomplished writer, Elias Neibart researched the topic of religious establishment through the Scholarly Inquiry and Research at Emory (SIRE) and gave a presentation at the university's Undergraduate Research Symposium in 2017. He also guides younger students learning the Hebrew language and knowledge of Jewish culture as a teacher for the Jewish Kids Group.
